While it is always a consideration that something bad could happen on the road, it gives me peace of mind to personally know that I’m covered no matter what happens. It is comforting to know my insurance company is good and reliable (and still cheap) and that they will take care of any car insurance problem that arises. That is because I took the time to actually study out automobile insurance companies, find out which ones are not only the cheapest but would give me the best value, and then I purchased a policy that would cover me and my family.
Value seems to be more important than popularity sometimes when it comes to finding the right car insurance. It doesn’t matter if you have a name like Geico, Progressive, AAA, State Farm, or Farmers. A lot of insurance companies seem to offer the same types of coverage, but price and customer service seem to be the big outliers. What it comes down to isn’t “Show me the Money!,” but “Show me the Value!” Don’t you agree?
I personally like to see what all the different companies have to offer and pick the three best prices first. Then, after I find the best offers, I like to actually give them each a call, especially those top three on my list, and find out how quickly I can get through on their customer service lines. That tells me a lot about how responsive they are, and gives me confidence that if I were to have an accident or were to fall into some type of trouble with my car, I would be able to first of all, reach an agent to talk to quickly, and second of all find out what I need to do next to make sure I am covered. I want to know and have the confidence that they’ll actually do something about it.
You never know when you’re driving, what will happen. There are some crazy drivers out there. (Maybe you are one of them.) But what’s worse is not knowing what can happen after an accident. Will you be left with the 0,000 bill that will take you three lifetimes to come close to paying back? I personally like the piece of mind of knowing that I got not only cheap car insurance but a reputable, fast acting car insurance company watching my back. So as you’re shopping around to find insurance that works for you, just keep in mind that even though you might be one of the safe drivers, not everybody else is.
