Revamp my bike!

I’ve got a 09′ FLHR Road King and I love that bike like no other. This bike has been good to me, I like the style, the comfort, the smooth ride, but I’ve got some old bars on it right now but really want to get back to the original factory bars. Getting Harley motorcycle parts is pretty easy; I have to say they are pretty accessible from anywhere. Any Harley owner knows that the parts for these bikes aren’t cheap. I’m looking for getting the old factory bars, but don’t know where to get em’ right now for the price I’m looking at.

I’m aware that getting these parts for cheap may mean that I have to get a used part, but that’s totally cool with me as long as they are in tip top shape. Last year when I put these bars on I got em used from a guy in Tennessee, he sent me the bars with the complete cables and everything, but I didn’t like the fact that I didn’t get a warranty on them or nothing.

I’m getting ready to revamp this puppy with some new custom paint and ink, thinking of going with nice black cherry paint on saw on another bike recently. It was pretty sweet. I think going back to the original handle bars is gonna really good since they were made for that model anyhow. I can’t wait to get it all finished up and polished, so I can get back on the road and tour. Over my entire bike has cost me a lot of money, but man is it ever worth it, when you hit the high way! I can’t imagine living life without it. For now it would awesome if someone could help me figure out where to get my hands on a good priced, good shape set of factory bars, if not I’ll just have to go straight to Harley and buy a brand new pair. But I certainly hope that will not be the case.
